We prioritize girls education with the understanding that when they’re educated it positively impacts entire communities, and can help to end poverty in one generation.

Academics at Divine Grace School

Reading

We teach reading to reduce stress, improve focus and memory, increase empathy and communication skills. We realize that reading allows children to grow with a positive attitude, learning on their own leading to success in work and relationships.

Writing

Writing is a primary basis upon which one’s learning and intellect is judged. We instill writing abilities in our students to foster their ability to explain and refine their ideas. We teach cursive handwriting as a means to help build their confidence.

Mathematics

Mathematics builds mental discipline and rigor, and encourages logical reasoning. Our students utilize their mathematical knowledge in understanding the contents of other school subjects such as science, social studies, and even music and art.

Science

Science instills a sense of intrigue and enables our students to develop an understanding of how to form questions based on their current knowledge and the insight they wish to gain. Through science, our students also develop excellent critical thinking skills.

History

Studying history helps us understand how events in the past made things the way they are today. With lessons from the past, our students not only learn about themselves, they also develop the ability to avoid mistakes and create better paths for our society.

Physical Education

Regular physical activity improves cardio fitness, builds strong bones and muscles, reduces symptoms of anxiety and depression and the risk of developing health conditions. Our students are encouraged to practice yoga and early morning exercises daily.

Divine Grace School accommodates students with local transportation, helping to overcome another financial hurdle for struggling families.

The first bus was purchased in 2015, and shortly after two more buses were added to the fleet. It was a great achievement, as many more students could benefit from receiving a quality education.
